LOGISTICS LIABILITY AND SHIPPING TERMS
By making a purchase on our platform, you acknowledge and accept that the delivery service is outsourced to independent logistics providers. Although we select high-standard partners, we do not exercise direct control over the daily operations, routes, or internal procedures of these carriers. Consequently, our contractual liability is limited to the correct dispatch of the order within the estimated timeframe and the engagement of a delivery service appropriate to the transaction value.
The risk of loss, damage, or misplacement of the goods transfers entirely to you the moment the package is delivered to the provided address, as recorded by the electronic proof of delivery or the recipient's signature. It is your responsibility to ensure that the address is correct, complete, and accessible, and to ensure that a responsible person is present to receive the shipment. We are not liable for deliveries made to concierge desks, reception areas, or secure locations designated by you at the time of purchase, as delivery to these points is considered formally completed by the carrier.
In the event of delays resulting from strikes, adverse weather conditions, postal system failures, or force majeure events, no penalties, shipping refunds, or financial compensation shall apply, unless expressly provided otherwise by British consumer protection laws. For tracking purposes, you must use exclusively the official links provided via email after dispatch. Any discrepancy in the order status must be reported directly to the carrier; we reserve the right to assist in mediation without assuming subsidiary liability.
Visible damage to the packaging must be reported immediately upon receipt. Failure to inspect the package at the time of delivery implies tacit acceptance of the external condition of the shipment. Claims regarding internal damage will only be accepted if accompanied by clear photographs and a carrier report issued at the time of delivery. Orders not challenged within 48 hours of delivery will be deemed received in full conformity, extinguishing any right to an exchange or compensation for logistics-related damage. This term prevails over any verbal communications or informal promises made by representatives.
Shipping Policy – Key Concepts
That said, a Shipping Policy is a legally binding document designed to define the legal relationship between you and your customers. It serves as the legal framework for outlining your obligations to your customers, as well as for clarifying various potential scenarios and the corresponding course of action for each.
A shipping policy is a best practice that benefits both you and your customers. Your customers benefit from knowing what to expect from your service, while you benefit because people may be more likely to make a purchase when there is a clear shipping policy, as it eliminates uncertainty regarding shipping timeframes or processes.
What to Include in the Shipping Policy
In general terms, the Shipping Policy typically covers the following matters: order processing times; shipping costs; various domestic and international shipping options; potential service disruptions; and much more.
